Eco clothing inspired by nature since 2010

Hello! I’m Beth, the founder of Boodle, an independent, eco clothing brand. I create socially responsible organic clothes and design greeting cards from my studio in Clevedon, North Somerset. Every design is inspired by nature and every product supports nature in some way.

From the Devon countryside to Nottingham Trent University and back to the stunning South West, my vision for Boodle has never changed. I founded Boodle Shop in 2010 to share and inspire a love of organic clothing, eco fashion, adventure and the wilderness.

My love of nature goes deeper than just the designs. All clothing is screen-printed in Somerset using eco-friendly inks (permaset) that contain no toxins or plastic. All our organic clothes are super soft and made from bamboo or recycled cotton and are under the fair wear label, ensuring good working conditions for everyone.

To keep carbon emissions low, I’ve teamed up with a lovely, small company called ‘I dress myself’ who screen-print the designs onto eco materials. All baby leggings are made just down the road in Weston-Super-Mare. By choosing the highest quality materials, we make sure our clothes last, so less landfill.

Every adult t-shirt bought sees £1 donated to ‘Just One Tree’ so every purchase equals a planted tree.

Because I’m an independent fashion designer, sometimes life takes priority over work. Since I had my daughter in 2018, Boodle has become more of a part time business and I’d like to keep it that way. Call it inclusiveness. I will always be upfront about delivery times and get things sent out as quickly as possible.
